I worked with Kim Lang for about 10 years at Omnicell Inc. My interactions and involvement with Kim were among the most successful and effective of my 13 years at Omnicell. Kim possess extensive knowledge on a variety of subjects but especially with instructional design and effective training. She simultaneously possesses the skill set to effectively manage staff working for her and those she reports to. I am 100% confident that all of her direct reports would share this sentiment.
Several years back, Kim and I created training for Omnicell field teams. Kim created experiential training for the different field teams with competency based objectives and testing. She traveled to our other facilities and conducted training for all staff. The staff commented that this degree of training for all staff was not only excellent but had never been provided directly to all field staff before.
Kim would often review and edit my training materials for the field and customer. She taught me to be much more precise, succinct and effective. I still use some of her slides from years ago as templates for effective training and teaching and certainly use all the tips and knowledge she shared.
I can’t think of anymore I have ever worked with who was more dedicated. She would not turn down any requests for training or teaching. As our company grew and the requests grew, Kim would ensure that all such requests were fulfilled with the same degree of excellence, even if her team wasn’t growing with the company.
If i were a hiring manager, I would hire Kim without hesitation. She will be a tremendous asset to all organizations fortunate enough to hire her.
